Community Chorus

New singers must arrange a short audition with Dr. Anna Hamre prior to the beginning of regular rehearsals. In order to know all member voices, arrange for balance and blend, and create optimal musical performance, Dr. Hamre must hear each singer who wishes to become a member. Please call Dr. Hamre at her CSU Fresno office at 559-278-2539 to set an appointment.

Returning singers are re-auditioned by section every several years to assess strengths and maintain balance. This year, the alto section will be auditioned during the second regular rehearsal. All returning members are given their seating assignment by their section leader, who listens to the entire section for blend, balance, etc.

Rehearsals for the 2008-2009 season now being held Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Coro Piccolo

Auditions for Coro Piccolo, the Fresno Community Chorus small ensemble, will be chosen by separate audition in September. Once auditions are announced, interested singers can contact Dr. Anna Hamre for an audition time.
