Rehearsals

Rehearsal attendance and a full season commitment will lead to more professionally satisfying work.

Fall '07 First Rehearsal: Rehearsals begin Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall in the CSUF Music Building. New singers should audition before that date. Music will be distributed at the first rehearsal.

All Subsequent Rehearsals: Will start promptly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights and end at 9:40 p.m. We break for 15 minutes at 8:40 p.m. for juice and cookies or snacks as provided by chorus members. A refreshment sign-up sheet will be available at our first rehearsal. Your participation makes a big difference in the performance of the chorus.

Singers provide their own performance clothes, which will be explained at the first rehearsals. (Women: long black; men: black tuxedos. All: black shoes.) Singers purchase their own music (available from librarian) and black folders. Bring a pencil to each rehearsal for score marking.

Coro Piccolo (Chamber Ensemble)

Coro Piccolo, the Fresno Community Chorus chamber group, rehearses from 6:55 p.m. to 7:25 p.m. before the full group meets. It is expected that these singers come to rehearsals warmed up and ready to sing without delay at 6:55 p.m.
