Fresno Community Chorus comprises a diverse group of volunteer singers from Fresno and many surrounding communities. The 100-plus membership includes physicians, lawyers, teachers, students, retirees, and homemakers, in addition to professional musicians and music educators. The Fresno Community Chorus Master Chorale performs with its full membership. As required by performance repertoire in a given season, additionally auditioned chorus members form the Coro Piccolo ensemble choir.

In addition to its regular concert season, Fresno Community Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Anna Hamre, toured in Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague in June 2009. The chorus completed a pre-Olympics tour in China in March 2008, has performed twice at Carnegie Hall, and traveled to Italy this summer. A trip to England is scheduled for June 17-24, 2012.
